Mainstreet design creates bespoke pieces of furniture, using the best materials and traditional skills, led by creative modern design.

Based in North Yorkshire, Roger Shackleton has been creating contemporary, innovative but functional outdoor furniture using simple combinations of traditional English materials, oak and wrought iron.

Combining the skills of an experienced blacksmith to make the frames and the finest European oak, Roger assembles each piece individually to bespoke requirements. After forging, each frame is painted and wax finished and then the oak is planed and treated.

Libéron is delighted that Mainstreet Design uses Libéron pure Tung oil and beeswax for exterior wood protection, ensuring that the fine craftsmanship of these pieces is enhanced for years to come.
